Non-bank lender RAMS Home Loans Group (RHG) announced today that it has executed documentation to extend a $750 million funding facility that had been due to expire on December 31.

Shares in Rams Home Loans Group (RHG) rose as much as 8.3% to 32.5 cents on Friday after the company said its $750 million warehouse facilities due to mature on 31 December 2007 had been extended.

Mortgage provider Rams Home Loans (RHG) said on Wednesday it is continuing to fund new loans and settle approved loans, however, to finance the existing mortgage book the company needs to refinance its two debt facilities by February 2008.

For all the fear and loathing there was yesterday in the wake of the announcement by newly-listed mortgage group, Rams, that its earnings would be materially impacted by the subprime mess in the US, its been obvious for quite a while that there was an impact here.
